Andrea Finch

Welcome! I am Andrea (Andi) Finch married to Tom for 32 years with 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Recently retired RN with new understandings of psychology and the ways God works with us to protect and also to heal ourselves with His power. My beginnings with Rachels Hope was in 2010 when I attended my own retreat after 23 years of silence and suffering. At the end of my retreat I was immediately asking what I could do to help. I helped co-lead many retreats with Rosemary and in North County and I was hooked on helping women heal and recover from the devastation of abortion mentally, physically and spiritually. Our souls are sacred and in such need of such deep love and healing. It is an honor and privilege to become a leader to assist you!At 19, my parents and I honestly thought it was the right choice with none of us ever being aware of the consequences. Promiscuity, drinking and anger and self hatred silently unfolded over the years creeping into my marriage and parenting. It was always difficult to understand why I felt depressed at times, not really understanding where the emotions of shame and loathing came from that would overcome me. I never thought reconciliation with God and myself was possible. When I heard my first witness that we can be healed, forgiven and even recognize the existence of my child, I wanted it so deeply. I have worked on sidewalk counseling and jail ministry for 13 years doing what small part I can to help women to find the beauty in their femininity.The mercy and love of God that we learn about and absorb through Rachel's Hope goes deeply into our hearts and souls and allows us to find ourselves again.
